So this year, we’ll have English track and we were encouraging speakers to apply to speak at WordCamp Kyiv 2019 in English.
I was asked, if Ukrainian community is ready for talks in English.
I believe, only the speakers who have already given a talk in English at our WordCamp back in 2016 can answer this question. So I’ve asked them!
And here is what they have to say:
“Yes, they were ready for a talk in English and I was very surprised on the amount of questions after the talk and how people wanted to meet and continue conversations in the hallway track.“

Designer and older brother at Blagonic Brothers
“Yes, I feel like they were ready for talks in English. Follow-up questions were good :)”

“Another thing and something that makes Kyiv WordCamp unique is the number of the questions asked for each session. I thought that having 30 minutes talks and 10 minutes for questions would be more than enough, but, believe me, I never saw any conference with that amount of questions. It was insane!”
